I am in the US and have a 2014 Audi A4 with MMI+. The car is now just about a year old.
I was wondering if any new features have been added to the MMI interface, specifically, the ability to read texts from my phone.

Also, I keep an iPod Touch 4th generation in the car 24/7 and have the newer iPod cable with the red collar, which allows video and cover art to pass to the display. In addition, I am able to sync with the iPod over WiFi when the car is in my driveway, but only for a limited time after the car is off. My last Audi (2005 A4) kept constant power to the 12v accessory jack in the console while the car was off. This car does not appear to do that. Does the same go for the MMI connection in the glove compartment? I would like to know if there is a way to keep the iPod awake so I can sync with it the next morning, etc.
