A4 wiring fault (cigarette lighters not working and trunk locked)
Hey guys
This is my first post here. I have an Audi A4 s-line 2010. Everything was fine until I found out that all the cigarette lighters (3) in the whole car are not working. I first suspected a blown fuse which was not the case. When I brought the car to the Audi service center they told me it's possibly a wiring fault (there is no power on the fuse). I didn't want to get it fixes because it's quite expensive and at that time it was only the cigarette lighters which I don't really use anyway.
Now today I noticed I couldn't open the trunk anymore. In addition to that the gas flap (where you fuel the car) doesn't lock when I lock the car. I suspect this is related to the wiring of the cigarette lighters.
A few months ago the battery needed to be changed. Could it be related?
Anyone knows anything that could help me? What should I do?
Thank you so much in advance.
