have your dealer disable the rain sensor....it takes them about 1-2 minutes. i no longer have my A4 but the rain sensing wipers never worked properly - the dealer said they seldom do.

You should also be able to disable the rain sensor by turning the feature off in the MMI.

So did you ever manage to de-activate your hill holder? I also have a 6MT and it's INCREDIBLY annoying. The feature creates an unsafe operating condition where I either have to accelerate abruptly on an incline, or the car will stall and the cars behind me may rear-end me when my brake lights go out and the car stalls at the front of a line of traffic.
I've driven manual transmission for 30 years and it's completely unnecessary. My clutch lasted 160k in my Passat as well as 160k in my Jetta before that, both had been modified for significantly more power than stock (~50% more)and I don't always drive like my grandma. I'm in the process of getting the dealer to either enable my green menus or to simply disable the hill holder. If they won't do it, then if it can be done, I know someone who will do it for me. I was just hoping for an MMI solution, ideally a selection to enable or disable should I decide to visit San Francisco at some point, or when i sell it.

My other pet peeve is the media default to "on" every time I start the car. I would love to set that default to "off"
