Hi there,

First visit to the forum, looks like the place to be - so thanks in advance!

I have a 2010 A4 2.0 TFSI - it's been solid and trouble free since I've had it, until a few weeks ago where the stop/start stopped working - and I had to hold the ignition key in to start the engine.

Took it to my dealer, who had a quick look and gave the below info

"EML light on dash due to cam position sensor has static fault requires replacing tu 90 and that will be the reason why stop start isn't working"

I've tried searching for this part on the internet, and also for where it is located on the engine - but with zero success..

Anyone know where I can find the sensor?

The dealer wanted £190 to fix it, and I can see similar sensors going for £20..
