What gives? Something drains power as of last night or the battery just gave up. Thinking of changing it without recoding (apperantly the coding only helps the car "learn" that it was a new battery faster (which gives it a longer life)) since I have no VAG and my local dealer wants $325 to change the battery and recode it.
Do you guys think it could be a fuse or something and not the battery? The car has only 67000 km on it but the battery has never been changed.

It sounds like to me it is, plus it is 6 years old so the battery could be bad. Also why not try to replace it yourself and save yourself $200, autozone or a parts store similar should sell the correct one.
