Hi
Does anyone know where the ECU is and how to remove it on a A4 B8 2012 2.0 TFSI Quattro?

Perhaps there exist some ECU removal tutorial for the B8?

think i saw a ecu removal on APR's site. I dont think it was an A4. but might be generic.

I believe there are several security bolts you must remove and replace to get to the ECU, which prevents most people from doing themselves. The ECU on DSG versions of the S4 is easier to access.

Well. My current problem is that I have no clue where the ECU is located. I saw a tut on the APR page for the B8 S4 but at that location I have the flushing medium.

When I was searching for the battery I found that in the trunk where the spare tire should be and for all that I know the ECU could be anywhere?

Remove the shroud under the wipers and the ECU is in a box under that shroud.

Its located underneath cover,infront of steering column,between it and passed the windshield reservoir.You have to unbolt or cut it out,the resoulder it.

Ok.
I removed the plastic cover and found some box under the washer fluid. Could this be the ECU?
If so the I guess I have to remove the washer fluid box first and the get to the ECU box.

Pull the windshield washer filler neck out and that will expose the cover to the ECU.
