Hello guys,

New to the forum so really sorry if this is wrong board to be posting on.

I have just got my hands on a 2014 A4 Avant it has the MMI sat nav module in it and also the 30 pin port in the glove box. Before I picked up the car I purchased an MMI cable to USB from Amazon (cheap £5 one). I have popped this in and it will charge my iPhone (5s) but comes up on the media section as "no playable media on this medium".

I have read on this forum after a search that I will need the 4F0 051 510 AD or the 4F0 051 510 AC.

Will this fix my problem?

I only tried it once, but I used the official Apple 30pin to Lightning adapter and it worked. But I normally use an old ipod that has the old 30 pin connector.

If I want to play music on my iphone 6 I use bluetooth streaming - so much more convenient.

I'm trying to get my iphone to stream music through spotify over bluetooth and it isn't working. I've made calls through the system no problem. Am I missing a step somewhere to get media to play via bluetooth?? I have a 2011 A4.

2011 A4 does not have Bluetooth music support, only voice.

Look up "Tune2air" to add bluetooth music streaming
