Does anyone know if the Audi Exclusive exterior paint option has a dealer invoice price that is negotiable? I think the retail cost is now $3,900. Do you think there is a dealer price on the option or is it a straight $3,900 and if i want it I should expect to pay the full $3,900 in addition to my negotiated price on the vehicle?

People say it's $2500. I have never seen your price before.
The fact that it's not published means that it's very negotiable.

These days it doesn't cost the factory a dime since each car on the conveyor is being painted its own color. The paint adheres to the chassis electrostatically and it takes 4.5l or so to paint the whole car.

There may be two pricing tiers. the $3900 is for a color that they have to match. $2500 may be for an existing Audi color. I'm still trying to figure this out.
