Default B8 vs B9 Suspension

Well.. my 2011 is in great shape... I had the lower ball joints replaced(creeking) and the steering feels like new (65K miles). I see the new B9 has a different suspension based on McPherson Struts. For the mechanics and purists out there which is better performing? McPhearon based seem like older and more run if the mill technology...

I read a review about the B9 that talked about how the revised front suspension significantly improved the A4. I'll see if I can find it.

If you take a quick glance at the componentry, you’ll plainly see the front end is made up of a good old multilink type suspension, just like the last A4. But Audi added a fifth link jointed from the steering knuckle and connected back to the subframe behind the front wheel.
