Depends on what options your car has. I assume you mean "without MMI" which in turn would mean "without Navigation". To have Google Maps in the car system requires not only Navigation Plus but also Audi Connect. The needed hardware is rather different than you have.

Bluetooth handsfree requires either the Bluetooth handsfree module or "Phone preparation". Perhaps you have that? What is the message when you press the TEL button?

I think the better question is how does someone buy a car without knowing what options are in it. Answer that question and you will know.

your solution then is to ask my wife, she is the owner, she purchased the Audi for the feel, and looks. I doubt she will have any answers, she ask me to find one.

You are correct no MMI or Nav.it does have the glove box cable and connector. placing the phone in the glove box every time you use the car is not a very good solution, as many cars today you just keep in your pocket or handbag.

I have a 6 month trial of Audi Connect and probably will not renew it as I think it is rather expensive. Do you lose bluetooth streaming once Audi Connect is gone?

Bluetooth Audio Player is available also without the Audi Connect option.

Quick related question here: spoke with Audi dealer, salesman states that the 2013 A4 premium plus is equipped with bluetooth for mobile, which I assumed meant control of your phone from the display, and streaming music over BT. Does that require MMI with navigation plus? The car I am looking at does not have nav, and the car is a few miles away from me, so I want to know before I go and see it. Naturally, I don't trust the salesman to divulge info before I see it personally.
