I have a 2014 A4 with 31,000 miles. I started getting the squeal 2 weeks ago whenever I was going slow (below 10 mph) and the car had been sitting around for a while (so basically every morning). It eventually stops squealing after driving a bit, but it returns the very next morning.

I live in Florida so its never very cold here.

I took it to the dealer yesterday afternoon and they were unable to recreate the problem. So this morning, I took it straight to the dealer and they were able to hear it before it went away.

They replaced the front brake pads and rotors free-of-charge under "Good Will", since they said squealing was not covered under warranty. Let's see if that does the trick.

Just an update, my 2014 just got new free front pads and rotors too. Was squealing like crazy - still had 50% of the pad.

I agree - hard stops did not do it for me either - I am tired of hearing it (standard dealer phrase) - I changed out the whole system and all is quiet now:
