Hello everyone. My wife has a 2012 audi a4 and I have a question. It was 3000 miles out of the 50k warranty and I had to replace the hi temp pressure switch at the dealer. And now if you start it up the A/c will never kick on until you start driving it over 20mph. After that it is just fine and at idle speed it will blow cold air. I asked my wife if this was normal bc on my other 3 vehicle the fans kick on in a minute and start blowing cold and she said "I think it alway did that" lol. Pretty sure this isn't normal but wanted to make sure before calling the dealer and getting the run around. Any ideas? Thanks

that's not normal operation for my 11 nor any car I've heard of. for sure the compressor never actually kicks on until up to speed? or it kicks on but doesn't start feeling cold till you're moving?
two guesses. either something needs to be reset in VCDS, not likeky. or the system is a bit low on refrigerant.

This is not normal so that being the case I would suggest you put a set of AC gauges on the system to tell you what the pressures are. Once you see that the it should be straight forward as to what to do.
