Well my kids car arrived from Fl. today and the shippers did a super job. So it's a 2015 used A4 with 566 miles on it. Well see how good the oil consumption will be in the future.

Nope it's Brilliant Red but the early morning sun/shade didn't do it justice. I'll get a few better pictures before my kid takes it home.
My measurement/standard is "0" usage in 5,000 miles. Anything else is oil consumption.

I have my SQ5 at the dealer right now getting some work done. While I was there, I had a conversation about the oil consumption on the A4. He told me this was only an issue on the older A4's (up to 2011) and shouldn't be an issue on the newer models.

We'll see but I doubt it. This car was serviced before we got it even though it only had 500 miles on it. The service interval on the MMI screen says the next service is due in 9,900 miles. We will do it a 5,000 miles as I am still a little skeptical about the 10K oil change. If the oil check gauge is other then full at 5,000 miles then the engine design has not been corrected. I'll hope for the best but not confident that the problem is solved.
