Default Carbonio CAI-Is it worth it?

Quick question. I'm going to chip my 2011 A4 soon and the shop that's going to do the work also suggests that I put a Carbonino cold air intake in too. How much difference, if any, does it make? I've not heard any real numbers either way. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't think it's worth it. I got a high performance dry filter for the stock air box instead - afe Pro Dry S - $65 shipped.

I'm looking to do the same things, contemplating just ordering the Carbonio soon but would like to hear some actual feedback from users first if they have done it. Anyone performed this mod? Any issues with engine lights from the Mass Air Sensor?

Just a gimmick, doesn't do anything more than a K&N filter woudn't do, just ten times the price.

If you're interested in getting more air into the turbo/intake manifold/engine so the APR tune can use it, there are a few upgrades you should consider.

1) Airbox to Turbo Hose:

2) Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit w/ Larger Turbo to Hose Adapter:

3) High Flow Intercooler Pipe:

Then to get the exhaust gas out faster/more efficiently, you can use EuroCode's Hi Flo Cat and your choice of Cat Back Exhaust.

I don't have a tune and I've noticed better throttle response and more audible turbo spool - which I like
