Carista app v3.0 released, can do service reset and EPB release
Hi guys, we have just released the long-awaited new version 3.0 of the Carista OBD2 app! Here's what's new for the B8:
Service Due indicator reset (both "inspection" and "oil service" indicators are reset)
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) service - change your own brake pads/rotors!
Auto-fold side-view mirrors when locking
A complete visual redesign of the app to make it even easier to use
Support for German language

The option for releasing my epb doesn't pop up on the service part of the app. I tried it with the hood closed and the hood up both. any thoughts Carista?
Not sure then. No threads/videos showing anyone actually using Carista to do the EPB work, just text of people saying they did so. I presume you have an active subscription since the other stuff shows up. This is a B8 A4 vehicle? Does a scan for errors show anything related to the EPB? Ignition is on, EPB is off, brake is not pressed? App is updated? I don't know what else to consider.
