Hello all,

Thinking about purchasing a 2012-2013 A4... as most of these cars are nearing the end of their warranty periods, where can I purchase an extended warranty, and how much are they? Which are the better warranty companies and which ones to stay away from? Last thing I want to do, is put down a money on a company that's worthless and nearing bankruptcy.

If you get a CPO Audi you'll get an additional 2 years after the factory warranty runs out.

Audi only has an extended warranty for their CPO cars. From what I've been able to figure out, most Audi dealers sell a warranty from Fidelity Warranty Services. I've also had my credit union suggest getting mechanical breakdown coverage rather than an extended warranty. I haven't compared the terms of the two. Those are available from some auto insurance carriers and credit unions. Before I got any form of extended warranty I'd talk to one or Audi two service managers and /or independent shops to get their experience with those companies claims handling and their recommendations.
