Default Going to buy my first car and I'm going with an A4!

Hello friends,
I posted a thread the other night asking if it was worth it to buy some old and very bad looking A4. Since then I have found many more to choose from and I was wondering if anyone can help me make a decision or point me in the right direction as to which ones would be best. Any little advice is appreciated! This will be my first car ever and I am very excited, thanks you guys! Cheers

Links of the cars to choose from..

This one is the one I like the most. It's the Prestige trim. Beautiful interior and exterior. Somewhat low mileage and good price. One problem.. 2009 Audi A4's seem to have a bad rap when it comes to reliability and maintenance. Opinions?

Low mileage. Well maintained inside and out. And it's 2010.

This next one is probably the one I'll go with in all honesty.. 2010. Not too bad on mileage. And only $14,500?!?!

If I want to stay on the safe side then I should probably go with this next one. 2012 A4, well maintained. Premium trim /: Well is amazing about this one is its a 2012 and it only has 47k miles and they're selling it for only $17,995!

2012 Audi A4 4dr Sdn CVT FrontTrak 2.0T Premium - Inventory | California Auto Group | Auto dealership in Sunland, California
It appears you are calling up CVT front wheel drive cars which are cheaper because very few people want them and those who bought them turned them in . If you live in a 4 season part of the country then the FWD may not be good for you. Look on "cars.com or autotrader.com and Audiusa " . Also what are you looking for , year , mileage , auto , manual , color , CPO and finally price.

Why would you buy an Audi with 2 wheel drive? It's like buying a sports car that is a wagon or a hybrid SUV. It's either one or the other...don't go half ***. You're buying Audi for its performance and handling...go for a quattro.

Kid,

What is the "amazing job" you have?
Do you live at home? Rent? own yoru own home? If your making good money, are you saving? If your making good money is sustainable long term? Are you enrolled in secondary education? What could be "good money now" might not be in a few years?

BTW, the kids signture says he lives in So. Cal so front wheel drive is ok for him.
Basically CVT's are ok, you get the engine and the car.

Stay away from pre 2011's. They can be problematic.

With your budget you have to understand and factor in repair money. You can get a great car but with higher miles on it it comes with a price. Some can pay it and its a relative bargain compared to new. If you have the cash to deal with it, then go ahead.

Me, I'd go to europe and see the world while your young.

I second that...I would have traded all 3 of my audis over the years to "do it all again" and live it up in europe and the world for a while. Save your money, take some trips, and be young...

BTW, it is never enough, so that good paying job/business will always be just enough for now...
