Default H&R Springs vs Eibach Springs to lower car height?

First, I apologize for posting in here since I do not own an A4. I have an A6.

I wanted to post this here to see if I can get some feed backs on this topic. Mod, please feel free to move or delete if this doesn't belong here.

I have an A6 3.0 (without the Sports package). I just put 19" wheels and tires on the A6, and what I am looking to do is drop my car down about 1" to 1.5" to close the big gaps between the tires and fenders.

Right now, the gap is around 2.75" front and and 2.25" rear. I like to lower the car a bit, without much sacrifice to ride comfort and handling.

What would be the most ideal ways to accomplish this task? Springs, coilovers, springs and struts. Not sure what the best/right option is, so looking forward to some more experienced experts here to chime in.

My reading so far indicate the quickest, and probably most cost efficient, option is replacing the OEM springs with after market springs? For that, I am looking at either the H&R springs or Eibach springs based on many positive reviews I have seen so far.

I greatly appreciate any and all responses.

Thanks
