Hello Again! + Grille Badge and Hill Start

It's been about 5.5 years since I sold my B6 A4, during which time I've been without a car. I just bought a '13 B8 (6-speed, prem plus, sport pkg... photo attached!). I figured I'd revisit AW with a couple questions for you folks.
(1) Were any of you on the B6 A4 forum between 2003 and 2009? If so, hello again!
(2) No hill-start assist. This will make for some interesting parallel parking in San Francisco. Anyone know why that's not a feature? I need to engage the parking brake every time I want not to roll back, which works for those extreme situations. (Yet I drove a Fiat 500 this weekend that had hill-start assist, and it was super convenient.) Eh, oh well!
(3) Do you have a recommendation for where to get a Quattro grille badge? It looks like the previous owner removed it, but I'd prefer to have it on there in case a towtruck comes my way.
