Default How do I keep the kids inside of the car?

I went to engage the child safety locks on each rear door (per the instructions in the manual) so that my kids can't open the car door from inside. The driver side rear door has a keyhole to engage the lock, but the passenger side does not. I thought it might be a global setting, but locking the driver side rear door has no effect on the passenger rear door. I tried to twist or wiggle the white piece but it doesn't budge. Am I missing a lock tumbler on the passenger side? Does everyone have 2 locks (one in each door)?

Here's what each door looks like:

Just checked my doors- you are missing the piece as both of mine look like your drivers door.

The plastic piece is missing but if you want to lock the door just get a pair of needle nose pliers and stick it in the 2 holes of the white piece and turn it just like the driver side to lock it.
