How to remove boot trim? Number Plate Screws Corroded
Looking to see if anyone has the instructions to remove the boot trim on an B8 A4 Avant?
My number plate screws are so badly corroded that the only way to get at them would be from the rear unless anyone can tell me how to get the screws out when they no longer have heads!? Or should I just stick the new plates on using double sided number plate tape...

All sorted - there are 4 torx head screws (2 behind warning triangle and 2 behind the rear light access flaps) then its just a case of pulling down on the trim to release the clips, taking care to remove the light socket from the trim, before completely removing. The number plate isn't screwed directly into the chassis - there is an 8x8mm square hole that a grommet sits into and you then screw into this - I just need to get a couple of the grommets and it should be sorted.
