I just came back from driving down to Monticello and the other houses in the area and had a great time both in the seat and on the ground. The car performed beautifully, getting on average 30.1mpg on the highways. Since there was no wind, straight and steady using dynamic setting. I won't post my highway speed because I don't want my guardian angel on here to fuss at me The twisties we went through in West Virginia and up and down through the mountains was really fun! We came back via Pittsburg area to see Fallingwaters and Kentucknob through torrential rains. The car again, was sure footed through incredible downpours. All in all, a comfortable trip. I am still going to look into reducing the wandering feeling when it is windy. That way, I will feel more balanced on the whole.

I normally have the ADS settings for Suspension and Dynamic steering in "Auto". But in strong wind I find that Dynamic setting for these two parameters makes it less sensitive to wind.

I'm in Europe and my quattro Sedan model -14, built october 2013, had the steering hardware and software updated in June 2014 due to annoing misbehaviour of the electric power steering. Part of the adjustment was also changed nominal angels for wheel alignment of the rear wheels. Another part was that, after they measured the car Audi defined which variant (out of 5?) of the steering hardware that would best fit my car. Maybe you should have these things checked by your dealer.

I bought a 2018 A6, it's the last year for the C7... I've only had the car 3 months and only put on about 1100 miles so far...Car came brand new w/ warped rotors which were finally fixed after 7 weeks waiting...Normally the car drives just great on and off the highway. Yesterday was a bit more windy than our area generally gets here. I was on my way back home from the dealership again(they replaced the rear window sill piece badly and cosmetically it looked worse than my original complaint) So I get on the highway and notice for the first time my big heavy A6 is getting blown around and getting off course a bit....it was a windy day....Even w/ double pane glass you could hear it gusting...I think I had it in Auto mode, but will try Dynamic next time conditions arise to see if it improves things......I usually don't use the Dynamic mode to keep mileage more economic....
