oh, I remembered IE makes a performance intake manifold:

Hi and welcome to the 2.0T party! As a fellow Avant owner to another, I hope your future experiences are good ones. Did your dad (being a used car dealer) sign off on this B8? Buying a used car is always a hit or miss situation. If your '09 A4 was well maintained, and the issues above were done/will be done, then the car should last a long time with regular service. I bought a cream puff with low miles and great service history, and it still have the oil consumption issue (just had the stage 1 fix done at the dealer last week). No other issues in past 6 months of ownership.

What is it that goes bad on the stock Audi intake manifold, Pierre? Would a person have this problem on a 2013-2015 A4 2.0 engine? Thanks for any info.

I'm looking at a 2009 A4 2.0T Avant quattro. Any new updates on yours? The A4 I'm looking at has new headers/pistons as the oil consumption test failed and the Audi dealership put in a rebuilt engine at 66K miles. There is currently 100K miles on the A4 I'm looking at. Was interested if you've run into any other problems and if you've done any after market upgrades?
