Manufacturers fit rear parking sensor
Hi Guys, i am sory if this is a repeat thread, admin please feel free to move if this is the case.
I have an Audi A4 TDIe 2010.
Just had the rear bumper changed after some nice guy decided to slam into me. As a result the parking sensors have been changed, and since getting the car back thet rear sensor buzzer has become so quiet it's a joke, even when the volume has been turned up in the MMI.
I suspect that the previous owner may have taken the steps to change the position of the buzzer to make it louder, and when the garage have done the work they have put it back to the original factory position.
As a result I think I am going to need to get access to it to move it.
After investigating it's location I can confirm that I can hear it within the rear offside seatbelt cover area, possibly the parcel shelf.
Does anyone know if this is the case, and if say turning it around will sort out the problem?
cheers everyone
Phil
