Default MMI and Aux jack.

I recently replaced my MMI unit in my 2011 A4 because the CD player died. I replaced it with the exact same unit and everything works except the aux jack in the armrest. Any opinions as to what is wrong? I checked the connection bundle twice.
Many thanks

I don't have more details but some ideas:
Have you checked the coding of the module (preferebly againts the coding of the old unit)?
Do you have Aux and Aux volume setting available in the MMI menues?

Yes, the MMI shows the aux on the screen but doesn't show bold as "in use".
Not sure how to do the coding. I do have a vag-com for my S8 D3.

So the system "knows about it". What is the part number you replaced?
Did you save a VCDS (VAGcom) scan before replacing it?

I replaced the whole unit. Is there a hidden menu that I can get to?

There is no separate volume control for the aux jack. It's located in under the arm rest.
