Default Need new tires - 2011 A4 Quattro Prem Plus

My 2011 A4 has 60k miles and still has the Audi original tires, which were Pirelli 245/40R R18 93h M+S

I am considering Michellin Pilot Sport A/S 3 245/40ZR18 97Y from Costco.

Thoughts or other recommendations?

Many thanks!
Rajiv

Michelin is over priced for what is does. It is horrible in snow. Not sure where you live since you didn't specify your location, but it looks like you are looking for all season tires.

Consider BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S or Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. Best rated tires and cheaper than Michelin.

Thanks, I'll look into those suggestions. I live near San Francisco, so a little bit of rain in the winter with mild temps year round. I do make the occasional trip to Lake Tahoe in the winter. I'm surprised to hear that Michelins don't perform well in snow. I had Michelins on my '01 Passat and survived three New England winters.

I replaced my B7 A4's Pirellis with another set of Pirellis from Discount Tire. Costo doesn't carry them.

I put exactly those tires on my 2011 Avant in September 2015 and have been very pleased with them. Smooth, quiet, great handling in dry and wet. And can't beat that Costco price and after-sale service.
