I have the unfortunate situation that my 2009 2.0 T Avant chews thru 5W-40 full synth. at an alarming rate.

I know this issue has been around for a long time and that there is a class action suit being settled right now.

My question is, was there ever a recall or silent recall to fix the piston issue?

Even if my car has 90,000 miles could a claim still be made?

I wouldnt want to read all that, but to help a little contact Audi of America and they will let you know. They are really good at getting back with you and taking care of you. They will see if you ever had the test done if not they will send you to the dealer to get the test 1 done first then go from there, doesnt matter what your mileage is as long as the test has never been done on your vehicle.
