Opinions on fitting AutoDAB in Glovebox or centre console...options
Hi,
I recently purchased a 2013 A4 Techniks TDi which frustratingly does not have DAB (I naively assumed it did when I bought it).
I am thinking of installing an AutoDAB FM system which transmits the DAB as an fm channel. I have 2 ideas and I'm looking advice in what will be easiest/best as I am not great at this type of thing. As I see it I need two connections, the aerial which will need installed on the window and 12v power.
1. Run a 12v extension from console to glove box under the trim etc as per in reverse.

2. Run the aerial to the console as method above.
I'm a bit nervous about taking trims etc off... I don't want to damage the car.
