Phone not installed. 09 Audi A4

Hello, my Audi keeps saying phone not installed. I try to pair my phone and the car does not show up in my Bluetooth settings. Could anyone help???

The settings doesnt say much other than reset mmi, radio, cd, etc.. I tried resetting it all and nothing.

It usually means that the car is not equipped with bluetooth phone connection (they have the TEL button anyway).

My boyfriend has an A6 his phone pairs but he can't speak using Bluetooth because the other person won't hear him. Any ideas?

Any solution? My iPhone "was" working/connected, so I know I have blutooth (phone mod/conn in console). My battery went dead over the winter...now my MMI tells me "no phone installed". When in the Tel mode, pushing the setup does nothing. I disconnected batt, recon, still nothing.
