Rear Shock replacement 2009 A4 Quattro
Hi,
I just bought an 2009 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T. I took it to a dealership for servicing and they said the rear shocks need to be replaced. they are asking $1555 for it. I looked up the parts on Audi website and the get three options:
Rear shocks w/AWD - $650
Rear Shock w/o AWD, w/sport suspension - $246
Rear shock w/o AWD, w/o sport suspension - $246
I'm assuming since i have the quattro model i need the shocks w/AWD. Can someone explain me whats the difference between the shocks w/ and w/o AWD. I'm looking for a suitable aftermarket or Generic OEM (if available anywhere) replacement that i could get for a cheaper price. I found a few brands Blistein, KONI but i'm not sure if its okay to use them since they don't list different options for w/ and w/o AWD. Please help, especially anyone who has changed their rear suspension.
