I rented my first Silvercar at Denver International yesterday. I was picked up by the off-airport bus and taken to the facility about 10 minutes away. The bus pulled into a large building where the Audi A4's were located as well as a few Q5's. I was greeted by a woman, who allowed me to choose the A4 I would like. Some had ski racks. I choose one of several silver A4's. They looked like Premium Plus models. Each was equipped with GPS, Google Earth, wifi hotspot and navigation, bluetooth. Very clean, even though there was a snowstorm going on outside. I used my iPhone to scan a code on the windshield, which opened the doors and unlocked the trunk. The A4 also included a toll sticker that charges only for the tolls you use, no daily charge. No papers to sign. It has been great so far. I could also download my destinations from my Audi Connect account. About $60/day but only available in select airports, Texas, Miami, San Francisco, Denver, and some others. I travel frequently for work and always use Avis. Normally stuck with a Focus or even worse, some kind of Kia. Price is about the same so obviously I will try Silvercar. Going to DC next week, sad to see they aren't on the east coast yet. I will report back soon as I can use it.
