So what happens when you live a long way from a dealer

I bought my previous Audi A4, a 2002 model, at a dealership in the next state, about an hour's drive. Whenever I brought my car in for warranty work, I either waited for it (if I had the time), or they would give me a loaner car.
Meanwhile, there was an Audi dealer closer to me (20-minute drive), but if you didn't buy the car from them, they weren't that warm and accommodating to you.
But it was worth it to me to drive the extra 40 minutes to get top-notch, friendly service.

I live about an hour and a half away from my nearest dealer, and believe me its a pain in the a$$. Sometimes you just gotta man up and make the drive. But if it's really bothering you that much, Audi does have a program where they will send a driver out to you to pick up your car for the service. Probably costs an arm and a leg, but hey that's Audi! Good luck.

Hello,
I have heard a lot of negative thigs about Audi of Santa Barbara, I do know a lot of people drive to Oxnard for work to be done because not only is the customer service better, but they do great work. I know the shop foreman at DCH Audi Oxnard is Robert Johnson is certified on everything and is a superb technician. I would take my car to him if I were you. Also, I know that DCH Audi oxnard gives loaner cars, and also has been know to have someone pick up cars from San Luis area. You should call them and talk to a service writer named Bill Profeta about what they can do for you.
There is rumor they are trying to build an Audi in SLO within the next year or so. Good luck!

My dealership is 2 hours away and they have a policy that if you live within a 3 hour radius they will drive to your house, leave you a loaner car and then bring your car back either that day or the next day. It does not add any extra miles to your car but if you have to get your work done at the dealer it's nice to use when you have to.
