Just bought a A4 Premium Plus that comes with Audi Connect free for a few months. Does anyone have any experience with Audi Connect? I was told that monthly fee is $15-$30 aftre trial, is it worth it? Probably, stupid question but can I use phone WiFi to access internet if I don't get Audi Connect?

It wasn't worth it for me. It's a very sluggish 3G Tmobile connection. Google maps was fun to look at for 5 seconds, but I prefer a very clean, classic NAV map when I'm actually navigating. You could use voice to look up "online" destinations and whatnot, or get the weather, but honestly I would have already done all that with my LTE phone 300x faster. I tried streaming Spotify over it - but it would lag incredible amounts between tracks if I was skipping around. Again my phone's LTE connection is superior.

But just use the trial and see how it fits you. I don't think you'll find $30 of use.

there are some threads about it and some owners use a Truphone sim card and pay as they go along. I like the toy factor but I think I'll just shut off the google map functon and put another card in and have it in the car in case we need it.

Streaming radio is clumsy. Sirius still a good deal.

ok nevermind, we took delivery of the car and my question makes no sense, Connect is like using hotspot on my iPhone. Google 3D maps are cool but definitely do no see any value in payinf $30/month after free trail!

If the sim card is installed (dealer should do it), you should get the service for 6mos for free.
