Default What I call detailing

I've gotten lazier in my old age so the days of me detailing my cars are restricted to a wash and hand wax a few times a year. But as the spring comes around I usually get the fun car detailed. As there was a question on what this included I'll give a brief description of what I get when the car is detailed.
- Hand wash and spot free rinse
- Hand dry with micro-fiber towels
- Undercarriage clean and dry
- Windows wash/cleaned
- Interior vacuumed/ shampooed
- Leather cleaned/treated
- Convertible top cleaned/treated
- Paint clay barred
- Paint machine glazed/buffed
- Paint machine waxed/buffed (Carnuba )
- Aluminum wheels washed and polished
- Inner fender liners cleaned/treated
- Brake calipers cleaned and polished
- Brake rotor hats repainted (if required)
- Tires cleaned and treated

That's about what I get done and it usually takes my detailers a day and sometime they take the car for a day and a half. Cost is $450
I then will use a spray detailer and hand wax it every 3 months. The result are great and looks in my opinion better then new. The paint comes out like it's wet.

That's a pretty good list. If you add paint correction the price would and should jump considerably from a "reputable" shop. I'm sure your ride looks better than new with this routine once a year or so.

You're correct as it would add another $300-$400 . I checked into that with one of my older cars and decided to forgo the additional work. A friend of mine had that done on his 68 Camaro and it came out great.
