Does any of the brand specialists that works for Audi know when the B9 2016 A4 will be in dealership this year? My local Audi dealer did not know (tried to pre order one due to the fact that I want standard transmission and that according to last year when I purchased a 2015 A4 automatic, is 3 months, I am attempting to avoid that this year).

Also I was told that the new Audi will have Full LED lights like the 2015 A3 Premium plus and the A6, TT 2016, MIB-2 instead of the MMI, HUD and some other features from the TT and Q7 2016.

I've been trying to find out information about the 2016 A4 myself, with no luck. My dealership, too, is clueless about it.

What surprises me is that in the past, the new A4 would be introduced in Europe a full year before it came to the states. But, I haven't heard word about the B9, except for a couple of so-called "spy shots," which don't really show anything.

But I'm hoping the new model makes up for what the current one is lacking: horsepower.

My experience with Audi is that you will not see a 2016 B9 A4 in the US. It will be a 2017 B9 A4. Most likely released early in 2016 to the US just like the 2015 A3 was released in the Spring of 2014. The 2015 A3 premiered in the fall of 2013 at the auto shows.

Sadly, the sales people are often the last to know. It's possible we may see the B9 make a debut late this year but doubtful.

This is a different issue since this model was to arrive in 2014 and it was delayed a year, now it seems to be delayed again until the end of the year, now you are stating it will be pushed back another year until 2016? That is almost a two year delay. looking at Audi's January and February sales in The USA, only the A3 is selling, all others are selling less and less as people are waiting for the 2016 models. I assume the A6, Q7 and TT will start to have positive sales in March going forward since they are either refreshed or new models but Audi's most popular model, the A4 will continue not to sale until they release the 2016 models. People are not going to wait another year, some will go to the competitors instead.

This appears to be about the most recent info on the B9 A4, if valid, its first public appearance won't be till this fall in Frankfurt:

"...at the VW Group Night on the eve of the Swiss show, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, member of the Board of Management of Audi AG and head of Audi’s Technical Development, put a timeline to the new A4’s reveal –

"You’ll be happy to see it..at least in Frankfurt (Frankfurt Motor Show), but we’ll make a pre-presentation (prior to the show).""

I spoke with Corporate Audi this morning, they confirmed The Audi A4 2016 will be available for sale in the USA late summer of this year, pre orders will be available in late May

But it's just a B8.5 (carryover) not the new B9?

Corporate Audi stated, when I called them that these are the new 2016 Audi A4 that will be on sale during the summer, not a carryover. The B9 should had been on sale last year but was delayed. I spoke with another Audi Corporate last week and he stated in the USA, the new model year begins in late summer and end in spring. That corresponds with the second call I made two days ago when another corporate person mentioned the 2016 A4 will certainty be delivered in the summer. Since it is a year behind, they will not delay the USA until one year after the European gets its Audi A4 this time.

Corporate Audi said to me to look for pre orders in June, since that was the reason why I called (I do not really want to wait 3 months to built a car). I downloaded Auto Android (it is now live in the USA), however, am unable to use it since my 2015 Audi A4 does not have the app in the MMI system. When I went to my local Audi dealer, the inventory manager stated that they could load the app to prior cars but they want to sell cars so they will not honour that request, no more then exchanging the MMI module from 3G T-Mobile to 4G AT&T. hence, I have to buy a new car though I just brought one last year from them.
