I've been searching here for a while for why the 2016 A4 (and A5) don't have a prestige trim level like they have in the past. I came up dry, but I have to imagine it's been discussed here.

Other much cheaper vehicles like the Honda CR-V are offering adaptive cruise control at pretty low levels such that it's clear ACC will be standard on a ton of vehicles very soon. As far as I can see, you cannot get that feature on any A4 (but you can on S4).

What am I missing?

Well, back in 2010 memory seats were Prestige-only options (and I had them on my '00 VW I was trading in!) It's the Audi, and they don't care about US market.

No, 2016 is a short year with the 2017s showing up in the spring of 2017.

There will be Prestige models in 2017. Audi loves upscale models.

Makes sense! Thanks! Still strange they didn't do just a base and Prestige, but I guess anyone who wanted a Prestige would be frustrated to see what happens next year.
