These are September lease rates which should stay the same for October. October figures should be out any day now. The residuals are for 15K per year, so add 2% to each number for 12K miles per year.

The best place I go to is http://forums.roadfly.com/forums/financing/, but Tarry at LeaseComapre.com who provides this data on RoadFly.com also posts Audi rates here on AudiWorld in each forum.

2010 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Sedan
24 Month – Residual 59% of MSRP – .00083 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 52% of MSRP – .00083 Base Rate
48 Month – Residual 45% of MSRP – .00270 Base Rate

2010 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Plus Sedan
24 Month – Residual 55% of MSRP – .00083 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 48% of MSRP – .00083 Base Rate
48 Month – Residual 41% of MSRP – .00270 Base Rate

Ask your dealer to run your numbers trough US Bank, they seem to have a better deal that Audi FS, at least on 09's they did.

Residuals posted are for 15K miles/year. Add 2% to Residual for 12k mi/yr and 3% for 10k mi/yr on all terms

Lease Payment Calculation Formula:
(Cap Cost – Residual Value) / Term = Depreciation
(Cap Cost + Residual Value) X Base Rate = Interest
Depreciation + Interest = Base Monthly Payment

take this spreadsheet along with you to the dealership on your laptop. will save you ALOT of money and show them you know how to lease.

Is the dealer allowed to do that and turn business away from AFS? I've never heard a dealer who will offer bank lease other than the domestics.

They sure can as AFS won't approve everyone for a loan. There are also times when another bank is offering a better interest rate to a customer with so-so credit vs. AFS.

Residuals go down quite a bit as we go from premium to prestige. Evidently the higher cost audi's aren't as easy to turn around at the end of the lease?

Seems the logic for a higher end A4 is to buy up front and keep it a long time, or lease and buy at end of lease.....and negotiate the residual down at the end. Doesn't seem to make sense just leasing and returning it at the end.

It depends on the dealership if they choose to work with other banks they can. I have a perfect credit and could get approved with Audi FS as well as with any other bank out there, I went with US Bank because the lease numbers were a lot better for avant.
