advice needed about winter tyre and rim package for s-line with 19" rims.
I know its June but wife will need winter package for her new car.
My questions:
1. are replica/OEM rims a "no-no".
2. If I find an attractive used package advertised, apparently from say an A 6 etc., how can I be sure they are genuine audi?
3. Her summer tyres are 245 35 ZR19 . I don't know the wheel offset. How rigidly do we have to adhere to these parameters? I understand an 18 inch rim could be substituted?
4. type pressure monitoring would be disabled, correct?
Any guidance gratefully received.

How much snow do you get in your area? Potholes? Here in Alberta Canada, my dealer recommended some 17" for winter tires since I live in the potholes capital of the world. See the link below for great info on choosing your rim size.
Winter Tech Information - Size Selection of Winter / Snow Tires
The following is what SHOULD fit,
WHEEL SPECS AND TIRE SIZES (2015 — ….)
Bolt pattern (PCD): 5 × 112
Center Bore (CB): 66.6
Thread size (THD): 14 x 1.5
Diameter: 16 — 20
Width: 225 — 255
Aspect ratio: 30 — 55
Smallest — Largest tire size: 225/55R16 — 255/30R20
RIMS SIZES (2015 — ….)Diameter: 16 — 20
Width: 7.5 — 9
Offset: 38 — 47
Ask your dealer for a detailed quote and then shop around. Tirerack.com will also lists many options for your model trim.
I personally love Michelin, yes, they are more money but they run soooo smooth. I have a set of BBS rims for winter and think they are great.

The officially supported sizes are listed here: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-.../#post24812318, 16" will likely not fit due to the caliper size we get on the 252HP 2.0T. TPS doesn't use sensors anymore, so resetting it in the MMI is all you have to do. Anything with a VAG part number should be original VAG, unless of course it's a really cheap Chinese clone that made it through customs without being detected. A4 B9 rims all have the part number 8W0 601 025 and some letters, if you google eBay.de you find find all kinds of different rim styles that may also be offered int he US. Rims from other Audi models may fit but that's trial and error.
