Default Black Optic Package

Is this the black optic package that I found in a German brochure? It looks great, haven't seen it before but was curious if it's offered in US

Not even available in Germany yet but it looks like what it might be at some point.

Took me a moment to find where you got the photo from, but I found it :-)

It's not in the German konfigurator yet though and there seem to have been several delays with the introduction due to a change in suppliers...

I would have loved to have that for our B9s, the moonlight blue with the black trim would look so good!

Not quite the same, but you can always vinyl wrap the chrome around the grille. I had it done on my A3.

I've always been scared to do that, knowing me I'd mess it up some how. Any tips?

How long has it been on and it still in good condition? I've looked into it but almost everyone who had it done said after a few years it started to pull away at the edges and you could see the chrome again. Do you know if they removed the trim so they could wrap it around the back?

Depends on how it is wrapped. If it is wrapped properly, it should hold up for several years without any issues. Some times it is removed and some times it is not removed.

I think on most Audis, removing the front grill requires removal of the front bumper and if the owners aren't looking to spend more than around $100, then most likely a front bumper removal is not going to be included in the wrapping process.
