I took delivery of mine in July and have seen 2 other B9 A4s since then. I have seen 2 new Q7 and many Q5, Q3 and A6. Also many B8 A4s.

The first thing I look for is where the hood joins the front fender. The B9 hood meshes almost invisibly with the crease that goes from the headlight to the taillight along the length of the car.

I admire the "clamshell hood" design detail every time I get in the car. :-)

Here in So Cal there are now very common to spot. Also you can tell B9 quickly by the position of the side mirrors, if in body B9 if on corner of windows B8 >

i've started to see a few here and there, but its still not a ton and i live in west LA. I work in a huge complex where most people make in the i can buy an A4 range and theres only one other guy who has one.

the A3 though is all over the place. Audi certainly has gained a lot of ground though. I remember when i got my B8 A4 at the start of the 2010 model year. It saw way less of them in the second year than i am seeing in the first year of this b9

Around my area I see a lot of old A4s but only 2 or 3 B9s. You can't spit without hitting a Q5 though, sheesh.

Here in Boston, it is still sort of a unicorn. I have seen a couple at the most. I guess it's the crossovers that is all the rage and good sedans like A4 are feeling the pinch. Nevertheless, I like having a car that isn't too common, even if only for a short time!

Ditto in the Baltimore area. 2-3 Max to date. Love being the unicorn, and an easy one to spot at that, especially at night.

2.0 A6 and Q5s everywhere. Not sure if those people drove the A4, because I love the style (especially the interior) of the A4 10x more that the A6. For the same money, I would pick the A4 every time.

Down in Orange County I see them everyday and not the same ones. I'll say my count is past 25-30.

Seems in most metropolitan areas they are still pretty rare. I like that.
