Mileage from recent road trip
Just finished a drive from Denver to Phoenix. First picture is Denver to Albuquerque where I got 35.6 mpg. Was over 36 mpg until the end when I started to get into city traffic.
Albuquerque to Phoenix was higher at 36.8 mpg. Guessing this is due to not just the relative elevation loss but also because the second half of the drive was off major interstates, with speed limits ranging from 55-65 mph.
I used cruise control nearly the whole time, with speed set about 5 over the limit (so 80 mph on major interstate, 60-70 on the state highways)
Car performed flawlessly the whole trip. I would note, however, that my idle seems to be a bit rough in Phoenix. Not sure if it's just a function of max a/c and 110 degree heat, or if the computer needs time to adjust to the lower altitude. Will keep an eye on it.

That is about the same mileage I got from a A4 loaner last week. Trip computer needs to be verified with actual fueling data. Look forward to that.

Actual fueling data for the Denver to Albuquerque segment showed 37.05 mpg. I haven't yet topped off after the Albuquerque to Phoenix segment but will share data once available.

I have noticed that my car idles a little rough as well sometimes so I don't think it's the heat or anything like that. I will let them know when I bring it in for service the first time.

The only rough idle I've ever had is upon start up. Sometimes it almost seems like the engine will die. I know this is common and others have been told by their service departments that it's normal behavior. What I hadn't seen, until yesterday, was a rough idle while warmed up and just sitting at a traffic light. Happened a couple of times in a relatively short period of time.

As for MPG, that is really impressive. Best I've gotten so far is just over 27, but I haven't even hit 1,000 miles and I'd say 50% has been around town/city driving 50% highway. My trip computer and actual fuel fillup was very close, within a mile of one another.
