I was supposed to take my new A4 in to the dealer on Monday, but got snowed out, so hopefully next week. Please let me know if you find out anything new.
Problem solved, it was bearing issue. Can you give me the site that you posted earlier?
I am sure you don’t want them to remove your dashboard, it is not a small surgery. If the noise is very similar to mine, you must tell the dealer check bearing first! Or show the sounds I recorded.
Good luck, hope you can fix your issue accurately.

Same here - my noise turned out to be the front driver side wheel bearing. Thanks for those YouTube noise videos - they sounded exactly like my noise, and helped with the diagnosis and repair.

I think I have the same sound on a 2018 A4 Quattro I bought last week.
How much is does it cost to replace wheel bearings out of pocket in USA?

@shadow-fax Even if you are out of warranty might be worth a call to see if bearings can be replaced under some goodwill warranty. I had mine replaced under CPO - my 2017 car was 4 years old but only 17,000 mi (28,000km) at the time and my dealer said he had replaced bearings on multiple vehicles from that model year. In my case it sounded like a computer fan in the dashboard area but was in fact a problem with both front wheel bearings

TSB 40 18 78 2047920/2 March 2, 2018 talks about bearing replacement.
