WOW, I'm liking the Avant! And actual fotos of the headlights look MUCH better. Thank goodness !

MPG numbers are impressive and these are European-mode and extrapolated to US MPG: 2.0TSFI 49 mpg highway, 2.0TDI 63 mpg highway according to an article on Autoblog. CD coefficient for the sedan is the lowest in its class and the transmission allows for freewheeling. Improved combustion is a big factor in the increase in efficiency.
One would think that VAG would bring an A4 Avant model here, given the popularity of the VW Sportwagen. Seems the Allroad sales suffered greatly due to price point vs the Q5 2.0. I like the Allroad, and would certainly consider one if it did not have the fender cladding (silly to pay a premium for painting that plastic) and had a more reasonable price point. And now we have a Q3 in the mix.

As in the past, it will grow on us I'm sure.
Love the fact that you can now get DSG in an A4.

I have had a 2008 and now a 2012 Avant...Love these and can't fathom or accept the pricepoint of the allroad...I too hope they bring back the A4 Avant in '16/17 when we get the B9
