Replacing seats
I did not opt for the sport seats. I think the basic ones are ok, but, I hate body roll of any kind. Wished I had looked harder for a package with them. Was concerned about wear getting into the car with the bigger bolsters. Anyway.... Would it be insanely expensive to have different seats installed? Do dealers even do that? Or Audi I should maybe say.

Only reason I chose my car (not even my 1st or 2nd pick of color) was the fact that it had the sport package with sport seats. It was the only Premium Plus S-Line on the lot with sport seats. I asked about getting one of the other cars swapped out with sport seats vs stock seats, and the response was "You don't even want to know the price of doing that." I left it at that. Makes me think it would be an expensive proposition, unless you perhaps found someone to pay full price for your used seats and ordered new ones from the manufacturer. Then removal and installation. Not a very turnkey process! Next step is to call the dealership and see what the parts guy thinks.

I'm confused: is the goal to take a car with the sport/S-Line (depending on market) package and 'downgrade' the sport seats to the normal ones?
Or is the goal to take a non-sport/S-Line car, keep the non-sport suspension, and put in the sport seats?

From the sound of it, Purchase Sport Seats and replace the existing regular seats with these newly purchased sports seats.

Wow ok, should have thought of that :-)
I find myself some days adjusting the heck out of the seat. I think the pedal position is much less "upright" maybe than my Passat which I am waiting to turn back in. The sport style of sitting isn't quite as friendly on the body.

Sad to hear this; just got my A4 (from dealer stock, and there aren't many Prestige models to choose from). The lack of sport seats is the one bit of second-guessing that I'm doing. I mean, the standard seats are fine, very nice even, I just wonder if they could be better.
