I had a creak once... car was stationary, and i thought it was odd. But hasnt done it since... so i figured it was still "breaking in" since i dont use it that much.

After further investigation, it ended up being a passenger front door window interior plastic trim, not the sunroof. Took some time to track it down.
I can recreate the noise by pressing down on the trim and it makes a clicking noise.
Service department suggested that it is rubbing against seals and applied some lube, which did not help at all. Waiting for further advice on how to address this problem. it is annoying.

Was a recall
same issue, it was a recall. Audi fixed it. The sunroof was making noise in Arizona with no cold weather. It was so annoying but is taken care of now...for free

I’m getting a sunroof whistle at about 70 mph or higher, especially when it’s windy. Cleaned and lubricated the rubber seal, but no luck. Of course warranty just expired so I don’t want to have the dealer do anything with it. Wonder if there’s a way to make it sit higher when closed. Seems slightly below the roofline instead of being flush.

Do you have a TSB #? I’d like to see if that recall will take care of my sunroof’s wind noise issue. Thanks!
