Not a put on. It's a Tesla S and it's real. I've driven my friend's and it's fast. Not my cuppa tea but he loves it.

I love the looks of the new Tesla too, its just that it costs too much here in Finland. Used cheapest Tesla from year 2014 is € 99.500 !

Audi is at least a model year away from implementing Apple CarPlay or Android Car. It's not clear if or which MY2016 models will be retroactively able to upgrade. It's not likely that earlier models will be able to be upgraded except possibly the new 2015 A3/S3.

I don't think the MMI display will be retractable in any region and the March model year change is not a first, they just did that with the A6 C7 in 2015.

I reckon they will be in the Middle East for regional press launch January or February, and available to buy almost immediately after this, providing we get sufficient allocation.

I'm quite tempted do get one of the first A4, presuming they put the 252bhp 2.0TFSi in the car for this region.
