They are fairly similar colour and texture. They even have the same leather smell when I unboxed it lol. I'll be installing them this weekend so I'll post some pictures up. I don't see any diy for removing door panels, I assume they are somewhat similar to the B8!
Totally agree! I was actually eyeing for leather armrest for my previous B8.5 a4 but they were too expensive for new. pretty happy I found these for the b9. compared to other brands, I find Audi is definitely lacking in stitched interior parts.
Lol! We got these 6 months ago. The fairly standard ones hahahaha.

the license plate is OEM - i have the slimline one with just the rings.
the rear screws supplied by the dealer (who was glad to take $70 for a set of 2 frames) barely fit and i really had to wrestle them in to catch the female socket with enough thread.
i bought some M6x20mm and they were way too long. so maybe M6x12mm would be right.

I have the slim plate covers in black with the silver Audi rings.

For something that is more practical than cosmetic, I installed the Dropstop pieces that go down between the seat and console and prevent items from falling in there. I once lost sunglasses down there because the gap is pretty large. These fit nicely over the seatbelt and fill in the whole area. They look stock. Here's the website and a couple of pics. They are available on Amazon.

^^^ I didn't even consider it since I got used to this being in every Lexus I've owned. It's a great idea and item to get. Any issues with it not staying put if the seat moves? Searched it on amazon and there are several brands/versions. Which one did you get?

They stay in place perfectly. They never move as they are a snug fit. When installing you squeeze them into the gap then grab the ends and stretch them to conform.
+1 for Lexus making this idea standard.

I have the same one's that Dsaeg2 has. They can be bought here. https://www.amazon.com/Drop-Stop-Ori...words=dropstop

I just picked up 3 sets of the Drop Stop from Bed Bath and Beyond here in Canada ($26.99 each). Installed one set in my '17 MDX and it works great - wife loves it - no problem with the seat moving (as it reverses every time you turn the car off to allow easy entry and exit). Can't wait to install in my new A4 when it arrives.
