Hi all,

Just a note to help people for the future really.

Last weekend had a fault with my soft top not closing on my 2007 A4 TFSI ...glad it didn't rain!!

Popped to audi the next day and they said it was an intermittent fault but most likely the motor needed changing. This was price with labour at approx £500!!!!!!!!

Gutted

Fortunately a friend of mine put me on to a guy that specialises in this fault and sees plenty of this kind of fault over a week.

Mervyn Ashton @ autoelectron sorted me out for a fraction of the price audi were charging.
Really nice guy he changed out my audis roof motor while I waited and replaced with a reconditioned motor with a 2 year guarantee.

Fault disappeared really happy
