Another Victim of Second Hand Cab missing the OP$&*(#&%$(*# manual release key
So, We have had our convertible for a few years. It's a 2008. My son has been driving it and now the top has malfunctioned. No big deal stuff breaks.
BUT> the Manual Release Tool is missing. THE SOB who turned in the is car or the SOB who received the car in trade RAPED IT! Took the wire harness adapter for the iPod integration (the mount was in the glove box but no adapter in the trunk) - had to have that made by the dealer. The floor mats were gone....impossible to find new ones for the rear and could not get the correct color. Now I find out that the Manual Release Key was also taken from the car.
It's $190 or more and I can't find one. WFT.
So I search and apparently this is a COMMON thing with used Audi A4 Cabs.
I need to borrow one....
Anyone in the binghamton area who has a Cab??? Please!
