p1129 and p0175 keep coming back
Wife's 05 A4 3.0L keeps getting p1179 and p0175, this time with the latter setting the MIL on. These codes have been recurring for months and the car has been to the dealer 3 times with them, but they were always secondary codes not setting the MIL on. Previous culprit was the Coolant Temp Sensor setting the MIL. With the CTS changed, now P0175 is setting it. Doing a search, I'm not coming up with much for this pair of codes.
Gas mileage has been under 20 for a while which is low for that car. I should say the last time in the shop, there were 4 codes for Bank 1 and Bank 2 (1129, 1127, 0175, 0172). And it says Intermittent for all.

The reason I replaced the MAF because all these codes showing up randomly across 6 cylinders.
My sister now haven't called me for months after the MAF replacement.
Cheers,

The MAF is not expensive and easy to replace. It will save you tons of grief due to incompetent technicians. Check my signature for how to replace the MAF.

Do these things fail frequently?
Thanks,

Don't worry about the codes... misfiring codes will come
up when you start the car and stop right away, it will throw the codes.
I changed my MAF on my A8 when it ran rough and stopped at the light @175k miles.
